Project Village Charitable Trust
Project village’s mission is to Empower Families to engage and connect with elderly loved ones. We are introducing resources to the community to allow the use of Diversional and Recreational Therapy to facilitate positive change in cares and many health benefits for greater community cohesion.
We aim to support, promote and educate Pasifika Primary caregivers and families caring for their elderly parents and wider family home.
This will Improve the quality of life of all beneficiaries of the trust, including the ageing Pasifika community, by caregivers taking the lead to ignite the spark of their loved ones by adopting the concept of Wellbeing Activity Bag initiative (Part of Toa Manuia) to the care plan.
This will change the way we provide care within our own homes for the ageing community and encourage people from all nationalities to utilise the Trust’s services.
We have been approved funding from government grants that will support this project for two months and the community needs this support all year round.
This Campaign is to provide Well-being bags to the community in need, bring trained Diversional & Recreational Therapists into the homes that need them and for our charity to provide support all year round.
